An external freelance lecturer for “Big Data & Analytics” (m, f, d) (Digital Business and Data Science, B.Sc.) in Hamburg, GermanyThe teaching load comprises 3 SWS (teaching units with each unit being 45 min.).
The opportunity:
To become an adjunct lecturer at a university of applied sciences in
Hamburg, Germany and to share your knowledge and passion with students from all over the world
Key Activities & Responsibilities:
- Implementation of the course (language of instruction: English), in particular:
- Hypertext markup languages (HTML, HTML DOM, etc.)
- Definition of Big Data and applications
- Task of Big Data Management
- Data architecture and onthology
- Challenges in data management: Data quality and availability
- Roles in data governance: Data owner, data user, data steward
- Data base management (relational and non-relational data bases)
- Introduction to Hadoop and the Hadoop eco system
- Methods for data analytics and data visualization
- Implementation of methods in a relevant programming language
- Business Intelligence and Data Science in Business
- Preparation and evaluation of certificates of achievement
