Your Responsibilities
We are looking for a new colleague to join our Business Department Team in Hamburg, Germany starting this summer semester 2025, who shares our vision of excellence in education and who is committed to making a difference in the lives of our students and staff.
The teaching load for each course comprises 3 SWS (teaching units).
The opportunity:
To become a lecturer at a university of applied sciences sharing your knowledge and passion with students from all over the world.
Key Activities & Responsibilities:
- Implementation of this Master course in Marketing Management (teaching language: English), including topics such as:
• Concepts of Marketing: From the Support Function to Market-Oriented Corporate Management
• Thematic and design fields of holistic marketing concepts: From the 4P to the 7P approach, reasons for and components of the 4C discussion, etc.
• Consequences of the development from a monological to a dialogical brand management on classic models of integrated communication
• Relevance, interaction and participation as the basis of new forms of marketing (including multi-sensory marketing, content marketing, influencer marketing, guerrilla marketing, co-creation)
• Differences, correlations and networking necessities of corporate positioning with corporate culture
• Importance of holistic, detail-oriented process design
• Significance of internal marketing in a consistently customer-focused and market-oriented company management • Networking of marketing and human resource management in employer branding
• The Future of Marketing: Is Less the New More?
Your profile
- Relevant professional experience
- Place of residence must be in or near Hamburg/Germany (lectures to take place on-site)
- Completed relevant university studies (at least a Master’s degree)
- Teaching experience at universities
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Organizational skills and willingness to work hard
- Experience working in international environments welcome
- Must be eligible for freelance work if you are a non-EU citizen
